Terms of Service

The software

Montage Engine is open-source software distributed under the MIT License. The license text in the repository governs your use of the code: you may use, modify, and redistribute it, and the software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Nothing on this website expands those warranties.

Self-hosted instances

Each Montage Engine instance is deployed and operated independently by its operator. Operators are responsible for their own infrastructure, their API credentials, the content they create and publish, and their compliance with the terms of the services they connect — including TikTok's Terms of Service and Developer Terms, OpenRouter's and Pexels' terms, and applicable law. The Montage Engine maintainers do not operate, monitor, or control instances and are not a party to any operator's relationship with those services.

Acceptable use

Don't use Montage Engine to spam, mislead, infringe others' rights, or violate the policies of the platforms it integrates with. Publishing features are designed for posting to accounts the operator owns or is authorized to manage.

This website

Website content is provided for information and may change without notice. The Montage Engine name and mark identify this project; don't use them to imply endorsement. If you join the hosted-version waitlist, we may email you about that — nothing more.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maintainers are not liable for any damages arising from use of this website or the software; total liability is limited to the amount you paid for them (zero).
